Today we had a very special visitor at Mintivo who is about to begin a monumental cycle ride for charity.
Liam Healy, brother to our Managing Director Steve, will be embarking on a solo cycle ride that will take him from Chippenham in Wiltshire, across the Channel from Portsmouth to St Malo in France and then south all the way to Marbella in Spain.
The cycle ride will cover 2,000 kilometres, climb over 50,000 feet and take a planned 14 days – assuming he doesn’t get lost!
Liam unfortunately lost his Mother-in-law last year to cancer, and his heroic cycle ride to Marbella will be done in her memory. He is therefore raising money for the amazing people at Dorothy House who gave her such fantastic care and support.
