There aren’t many people who can boast that they were once a full-time gamer, but Harley is one of them! Regularly commuting to the USA to take part in international competitions, Harley enjoyed travelling and stepping outside of his comfort zone and working within a multi-cultural setting. He was part of the number one European team for over a year, so if you have any questions about games, Harley is definitely the person to ask. An aficionado of Smite and the many other MOBA published games such as League of Legends and Heroes of The Storm, his all-time favourite is still Fifa!
Harley was born in Bath, grew up in Shepton Mallet and recently moved to Corsham with his girlfriend and is enjoying living in the historic town. He enjoys walking his dog, Bentley, a Dogue de Bordeaux which he tells me is one of the oldest French breeds of dog.
A man after my own heart, he loves Pasta Carbonara and if he ever had to go to a desert island, he’d want to take an Italian chef and an unlimited supply of food! His love of food might explain his secret skill, which he says is putting weight on really fast!
Having completed his Networking and Infrastructure Apprenticeship, his career progressed swiftly into Service Desk activities. Harley joined Mintivo as our IT Incident Coordinator, supporting the growing Service Desk team and has helped improve the processes used and ensured that the best person deals with client queries and requests.
In addition to obtaining his apprenticeship, Harley also holds certifications and accreditations in Networking Fundamentals; Business Processes; Coding and Logic; Mobility and Device Fundamentals as well as Advanced 3CX and ITIL.
When he joined Mintivo, Harley commented:
Not a huge music lover, Harley will listen to Capital FM during his commute and the Mintivo Playlist whilst at work. He’d much rather watch a film (his favourite being Ben Affleck and Anna Kendrick’s The Accountant) or play Fifa than listen to music.
As a very organised and driven individual, Harley is always busy planning for the future. His immediate plans are to head to Croatia for his holiday and is looking at ways to get on the property ladder in the next year or so.
