Mintivo are proud to support Springboard Chippenham as our local charity. Many of our staff are from the local area and through personal connections, have seen the valuable help and support that Springboard brings to the parents, carers and children it engages with. The directors, all from Chippenham, have always focussed on the physical, emotional and developmental well-being of their staff and having experienced considerable company growth wanted to enable this worthwhile charity to benefit from this success.
Springboard believe that by doing more and by working with others they can give children aged 0-5 with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) across North Wiltshire a more effective and efficient service. They have been delivering this service for over 40 years. They work particularly closely with parents and carers to help and support them in a variety of ways. Facilitating meetings with the plethora of agencies, charities and health workers who can assist the children are particularly valuable to the parents and carers who often don’t realise such help is available. Springboard ensures everyone works together as a team with shared action plans focussing on the child’s specific needs.
Needing to raise in the region of £140,000 each year to support the work they do, Mintivo is delighted to be able to contribute towards this total and raise awareness to others on how to do the same. Using Springboard’s Virgin Money’s Giving page is a quick and easy way to donate:

Based at the King’s Centre in Chippenham, Springboard have recently had the opportunity to expand their nursery offering, which is much needed, bearing in mind the significant waiting list which they have for places. Clearly offering more places and support means additional costs, so we are happy to highlight the various fundraising activities and targeted support needed.
Having visited their premises at King’s Centre, it was humbling to see the children play so contentedly despite their varying disabilities. The dedicated staff clearly love what they do, and it was touching to see the bond between them and the children they were caring for. The care and attention that they gave to each child, tailored to their individual needs, was amazing to see.
