MINTIVO

We won Business Of The Year

Mintivo, a leading IT provider, helping ambitious organisations by delivering managed IT services for the SME, was recognised by the judging panel at the Chippenham Business Awards and presented with the Chippenham Business of the Year award.

Mintivo, based in Avon Reach, Chippenham, has been delivering IT services since November 2015 and provides support, solutions and consultancy to a diverse range of clients from across the country, but predominantly in North Wiltshire.

Chris Gough, Managing Director of Mintivo Ltd said, “I am particularly proud to have been presented with the overall Business of the Year accolade as all of the finalists were such worthy nominees. It’s thanks to our staff and customers that we are in the position to be considered for these awards.  We work hard to ensure culture, people and development are at the core of our business, so winning the Best Place to Work was a great recognition of that. Our ethos is that happy and committed staff will deliver the excellent IT support we pride ourselves on.”

Working with local companies is important to Mintivo as well as supporting their chosen local charity, Springboard, which co-incidentally, was this year’s Awards ceremony charity this year. Mintivo’s directors and staff are all from the local area and believe it is important to give back to their community. One of the Directors, Mark Adams, and one of the IT Support Team, Ben Strange, are both running the Bath Half Marathon in aid of Springboard on 15th March.

There were a number of extremely successful businesses who were considered for award categories, with 8 being self-nominated, and the Lifetime Achievement and Business of the Year awards being chosen by the judging panel. The quality of the nominees is testament to the thriving and diverse business community in Chippenham.

Mintivo were finalists for the SME of the Year award alongside Avagio IT and Active Potential Therapy as well as White Horse Surveyors and 24/7 Recruiting for the Best Place to Work award.

Commenting on why he thinks Mintivo were awarded the Best Place to Work award, Sam Hughes, Service Desk Manager said “Our team members feel part of the Mintivo family and want to look after our clients who become part of our extended family.  Clearly defined strategies from a friendly and modern board of Directors help us to deliver exceptional support. Their “open door” policy and generous employee perks ensure hard work is always recognised and rewarded.”

Mark Adams, Operations Director, drives the culture within Mintivo and believes strongly that there is a direct correlation to staff wellbeing and great IT support. He says “Being recognised by fellow SMEs is humbling, but to have staff that clearly enjoy working here is one of the best feelings ever, and it’s thanks to their hard work and dedication that Mintivo has grown so rapidly and successfully.”
